The Centre for Digital Scholarship has provided digital publication services – in one form or another – for an increasing number of academic journals for nearly two decades. The Centre for Digital Scholarship offers a wide range of services for current and prospective journals and can help journal editorial staff do nearly anything from simple hosting of digital versions of issues to full back-run digitization, to fully-online peer review and journal management.

  • Algorithmic Operations Research

    This journal is no longer publishing. 

    Algorithmic Operations Research published original research papers in the area of operations research and mathematical optimization with an algorithmic focus. The topics of interest included linear programming, integer programming, non-linear programming, combinatorial optimization, semidefinite programming, graph algorithms, approximation algorithms, metaheuristics, online algorithms, randomized algorithms, Optimization algorithms in computational molecular biology, medicine, and all other application areas.

  • Atlantic Geoscience

    Atlantic Geology (originellement Maritimes Sediments, et par la suite Maritimes Sediments and Atlantic Geology) couvre tous les aspects de la géologie des provinces atlantiques du Canada et des régions connexes.     This journal is no longer publishing.

    A scholarly periodical devoted to international fiction published by the International Fiction Association. The IFR includes original essays on the contemporary fiction of many countries as well as reviews of recently published novels and scholarly works on fiction. It gives authoritative coverage to world fiction.

  • International Journal of Forest Engineering

    Scope: Research papers in all aspects of forest operations, both empirical and theoretical. Most published articles are original research, but review articles are also welcome. An important role of the International Journal of Forest Engineering (IJFE) is to report on existing practices and innovations in forest engineering by scientists and professionals from around the world to promote environmentally sound forestry practices and contribute to sustainable forest management. 

    IJFE’s scope includes operations related to the management, harvesting, processing and transport of forest biomass to industry or other users, but normally excludes industrial manufacturing processes (e.g. sawmilling, pulp and paper manufacturing), bioenergy production, materials strength testing, etc. which occur following transport. Our scope applies to all kinds of forest management (e.g. short and long rotation; uneven-aged and even-aged; agroforestry) associated with the production of forest biomass.
  • The International Hydrographic Review

    The International Hydrographic Review is an international journal publishing original works on all aspects of hydrography and associated subjects, ranging from the latest technical developments to history. It was first published in 1921 and since then has been published regularly.

    In 2009 the IHR became a web-based publication, with two editions a year and an annual printed copy of these two editions distributed to the IHO Member States. Access to digital editions is open to all and free of charge.

  • Linguistica Atlantica

    Linguistica Atlantica, the journal of the Atlantic Provinces Linguistic Association (APLA), publishes articles on descriptive and theoretical linguistics. APLA was founded in 1977 to promote the study of languages and linguistics in Eastern Canada and was recognized in 1992 as a national organization by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. The Association hosts an annual conference each fall at a centre of higher education in the area and publishes the papers presented. Topics cover all areas of linguistics.

     

  • Narrative Works

    Narrative Works is an online, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal developed by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Narrative at St.Thomas University. Narrative Works is a venue for disseminating scholarly work related to narrative that does not fit neatly within established disciplines, publishing work by theorists, researchers, and practitioners working on a wide spectrum of topics that cut across conventional academic boundaries.

    MUSICultures est la publication érudite de la Société canadienne pour les traditions musicales.

    MUSICultures publie des articles originaux, en anglais et en français, sur un éventail de sujets: ethnomusicologie et recherche dans le domaine de la musique traditionnelle ou populaire. La revue encourage la soumission d’articles sur la musique dans le contexte canadien ainsi que ceux qui abordent la musique dans des contextes globaux et transnationaux.   • R.C.M.P. Security Bulletins

    R.C.M.P. Security Bulletins are a unique, static collection of primary documents digitised for the University of New Brunswick's History Department. No additional publication is scheduled for this title in this location.

    From its inception in 1919-1920 the RCMP (initially the Royal Northwest Mounted Police) security service compiled periodic reports on "subversive" activity in Canada, which were circulated to the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Through use of Canada's Access to Information legislation Gregory S. Kealey and Reg Whitaker acquired copies of the extant Bulletins, which are now held by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. Eight volumes of Bulletins have been published, covering the years 1919 to 1945.

  • Theatre Research in Canada / Recherches théâtrales au Canada

    Explores theatre in Canada from theoretical and/or historical perspectives, and reviews books dealing with all aspects of Canadian theatre / Les Recherches théâtrales au Canada publient des articles qui explorent les dimensions théoriques et/ou historiques du théâtre au Canada. De plus, on peut aussi y trouver des comptes-rendus de livres traitant de tous aspects du théâtre Canadien.

  • Études en littérature canadienne

    Études en littérature canadienne (ÉLC) est une revue bilingue semestrielle consacrée à l’étude de la littérature canadienne en anglais et en Français, et publiée à l’Université du Nouveau-Brunswick à Fredericton. ÉLC est évaluée par des pairs et accueille favorablement les mémoires sur tous les aspects de la littérature canadienne.
