In Memoriam

During the past 6 months, two former editors of Atlantic Geology passed away, both of whom were essential to the success of the journal: George Pajari on October 20, 2017, and Ron Pickerill on April 5, 2018.

George and Ron took over as co-editors of the journal beginning in January 1981. George stepped down in 1986, but Ron continued as co-editor when the journal became “Atlantic Geology” and the official journal of the Atlantic Geoscience Society and continued in that role to the end of 2007. We owe much to George and Ron - thank you to both.
