Abstract
The opening of a newmultimedia language centre and the implementation of a new French as a SecondLanguage curriculumled to the idea of having students explore the Internet through cooperative learning in the Laurier Language Centre (LLC). This article describes the impact of this pedagogical choice on a small group of students and their resulting attitude towards the target language and its various cultures. This article also examines how students view cooperative learning compared to individual work in the LLC.Downloads
