Author Biography
ELIZABETH (BETH) JEWETT is an instructor in Canadian Studies and the director of Extended Learning at Mount Allison University. With research interests in environmental history, food history, and the history of sport and leisure, Jewett’s ongoing projects are a book manuscript on the history of golf course landscapes in Canada between 1873-1945 as well as a history of the development and expansion of a settler maple syrup industry in Canada’s four leading producer provinces: Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
