Mr. White is President of the 2.3 million member Canadian Labour Congress (CLC). The CLC is a federation of more than 70 trade unions and represents approximately 70 percent of Canada’s unionized workers. Prior to becoming President of the CLC in 1992, Mr. White was President of the Canadian Auto Workers Union.
