Katherine Bell is Associate Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she teaches Children’s literature, Young Adult Literature, and Canadian literature. One strand of her research focuses on adolescence in Atlantic Canadian fiction, and she has published critical essays on L.M. Montgomery, Kevin Major, and the focalization of Atlantic Canadian history in the Dear Canada fiction series.
