Abstract
Malgré son appartenance l’étiquette manifestive (qui allie la fête et l’engagement), l’auteur-compositeur-interprète Tomás Jensen se fait aussi très cynique dans ses chansons, attitude qui paraît aux antipodes de celle du chanteur engagé traditionnel. Partant de ces constats, on postulera que la notion d’engagement, portée par des idéologies totalisantes, est aujourd’hui incompatible avec les modes de pensée postmodernes. À partir de cet antagonisme, les artistes engagés auraient créé une façon contemporaine d’envisager l’engagement. Le présent article se propose de questionner ces hypothèses en centrant son propos autour de Jensen pour dégager la nouvelle éthique de l’engagement qui s’y profile- The author retains copyright over the work.
