Author Biography

Sharon King-Campbell

Sharon King-Campbell is a PhD candidate with MUN's Department of English. She is a Vanier scholar (2021) and a Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies (2019–2020). She holds a BFA Theatre (Acting) and a MA English (Creative Thesis). She is also the author of This Is How It Is (2021) and Dayboil (2024), both published by Breakwater Books. As a theatre artist, she has participated in more than 100 theatrical productions as a playwright, director, dramaturge, actor and/or producer. Sharon is an accomplished storyteller with a performance CV that ranges across Canada and around the world.
