George Park was Professor of Anthropology at Memorial University from 1969 to 1991. His interest in the phenomenon of devalorization springs from observation of social change and its impact on the elderly in Norway, East Africa, and Atlantic Canada.
Cheryl Brown, who has an M.A. in Anthropology from Memorial University, is a Coordinator of Continuing Education Studies at the Cabot Institute of Applied Arts and Technology in St. John's.
