The first part of this article is a description of the two-stage project: DECT1 (transcription of the romances and definition of lexemes; this part is already accessible) and DECT2 (grammatical words, variants found in other manuscripts, and the semantic classification of the words). The second part of the article focuses on the ways in which this resource can be used and on the avenues it opens up for both specialists and the informed public.</p><p><strong> Résumé</strong></p><p>Le <em>Dictionnaire électronique de Chrétien de Troyes</em> (DECT), projet d’un groupe international de collaborateurs, constitue à la fois un lexique de cet écrivain de XIIe siècle et une base textuelle qui permet de lire ou d’interroger les transcriptions de ses cinq romans. Le premier volet de cet article présente la description du projet, qui se déroule en deux étapes, DECT1 (transcription des romans et définition des mots lexicaux, déjà consultable en accès libre) et DECT2 (mots grammaticaux, variantes des autres manuscrits, et classement sémantique des mots relevés).
