MARIE-BLANCHE FOURCADE s'intéresse aux problématiques patrimoniales et identitaires liées au contexte d'exil. Inscrite au doctorat en ethnologie à l'Université Laval, elle prépare une thèse sur le rôle du patrimoine domestique dans l'affirmation de l'identité d'une communauté arménienne en diaspora.
VÉRONIQUE KLAUBER est doctorante en sociologie et en ethnologie à l'Université Laval. Elle a travaillé comme auteure et éditrice à l'Encyclopaedia Universalis après des études littéraires à la Sorbonne. Née à Budapest, elle a étudié la langue romani.
TANIA MARTIN is currently Visiting Professor at the School of Architecture, Université Laval. Her research addresses issues of architecture and gender, religion and ethnicity by examining the built environments of Roman Catholic communities of women in North America.
WILHELM E. NASSAU is a Curatorial Associate at the Canadian Clay and glass Gallery in Waterloo, and curator for history at the Austrian Glass Museum in Baernbach. For the past thirty years he has been involved in the research of ancient glass, specializing in its technology.
BRIAN S. OSBORNE has lived long enough to remember the smell and sound of steam, stationmasters with watches and rose boutonnières, and trains arriving on schedule.
GERALD L. POCIUS is University Research Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he is Director of the Centre for Material Culture Studies. His most recent book is A Field Guide to the Vernacular Architecture of St-Pierre et Miquelon (with Rodrigue Girardin).
LOUIS-PASCAL ROUSSEAU est candidat à la maîtrise en histoire à l'Université Laval et travaille comme chercheur dans cette discipline au Centre interuniversitaire d'études sur les lettres, les arts et les traditions (CELAT). A a publié des articles sur la définition de l'identité métisse en Amérique du Nord.
FRANÇOIS SIMARD est aussi candidat à la maîtrise en histoire à l'Université Laval. Il concentre actuellement ses recherches sur l'histoire politique du Québec après s'être penché sur le développement de cultures métisses au Canada. Lui-même est d'origine amérindienne.
VAN TROI TRAN est un autre candidat à la maîtrise en histoire à l'Université Laval. Son mémoire en cours de rédaction porte sur l'Exposition coloniale à l'Exposition universelle de 1889 à Paris.
NICOLE VALUÈRES dirige le Service de gestion des collections et d'information au Musée McCord d'histoire canadienne, où elle a instauré le site Web et mis en place un programme de diffusion qui comporte, en plus des expositions virtuelles, la plate-forme pédagogique ChoClic et le projet en partenariat Clefs pour l'histoire.
PAUL VAN DER GRIJP is Director of the Department of Ethnology at the Université de Provence and Researcher at the Centre de Recherche et de Documentation sur l'Océanie in Marseilles. His research interests include the history and anthropology of collecting.
