KENNETH L. AMES is Chief of the Historical Survey at the New York State Museum in Albany, New York. He has written and lectured extensively on material culture, art, and museums.

NORMAN R. BALL is Northern Telecom Professor of Engineering Impact on Society in the Department of Systems Design Engineering, and Director of the Centre for Society, Technology and Values, at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario.

JENNY COOK is completing her doctoral studies in History at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a Curatorial Research Associate at Kings Landing Historical Settlement near Fredericton, New Brunswick.

JACK ENGLISH holds an SSHRC post-doctoral fellowship and is teaching History 476: "Canada at War" at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. The main thrust of his SSHRC work will be on the art of war and the future of ground forces.

DAVID FARRELL holds a Master's degree in History from the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia. He worked at Helmcken House in the summer of 1992 to fulfill a requirement for the diploma in Cultural Resource Management at the same university.

JOLEEN GORDON is a Research Associate at the Nova Scotia Museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

PHILIPPE MAURICE is President of Philmsearch IV Inc. and a specialist in the preventive care of photographic materials. A consultant to museums, he is a member of the Photographic Historical Society of Canada and Director of the Calgary Photographic Historical Society.

CATHERINE PAGANI is completing her doctorate at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario and will be assuming the position of Assistant Professor of Asian Art at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

NlCHOLETTE PRINCE holds a M.Sc. degree in Clothing and Textiles from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta. She is a Native History Researcher in the Canadian Ethnology Service at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Hull, Quebec.

DlANNE REID is an Ottawa writer and archivist. She is the Exhibition Review Editor for Archivavia.

JOAN SEIDL is Curator of History, Vancouver Museum, Vancouver, British Columbia.

WARREN F. SOMMER is a graduate of Historical Geography from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia. He has been Curator/Director of the Langley Centennial Museum and National Exhibition Centre for 12 years and is now Manager of Community Recreation Services for North West Langley, British Columbia.
