New Brunswick’s right to information legislation has been used successfully by journalists and the public to uncover issues such as gaps in ambulance service and inadequate water quality guidelines. The legislation also has great potential as a tool for academic research. Using government sources, interviews, and survey results, this study explores the state of access to government information in New Brunswick, the province’s right to information legislation, and its use by the scholarly community.</p> ER -
