Peter J. Woolley Steps Down as Book Review Editor

In 1995, Peter J. Woolley, a professor of Political Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, joined the Editorial Board of The Journal of Conflict Studies. Then, in 1997, Peter became the Journal's Book Review Editor. Little did he know at the time that this would turn into such a long-term commitment. Year after year Peter faithfully found reviewers for a wide range of books and cajoled the authors into meeting our publication deadlines. With each submission came a cheery message from Peter, usually accompanied by a local weather report from a much milder climate. Earlier this year, Peter stepped down as Book Review Editor and has re-joined the Editorial Board. And true to form, before leaving his post he arranged for his own successor, Dennis Foster from the Virginia Military Institute. Thanks for your years of service to the Journal, Peter, and perhaps we'll be able to call on you occasionally for a book review.
